Active Shooter Awareness Course

What do Columbine High School, Trolley Square, Virginia Tech University, Aurora Colorado Century Movie Theatre, and Sandy Hook Elementary all have in common? Aside from the painful memories of the victims who lost their lives in these mass shootings, we learn from these situations that not having a plan is no longer an acceptable option. Furthermore, we come to understand that anything less than a planned aggressive action will only further enable the shooter.

This course will empower you to embrace a warrior/survivor mindset so that when tragedy strikes
you will be prepared to enact a life-saving plan rather than suffer the paralyzing effects of the victim
mentality. You will learn the skills necessary to minimize casualties and maximize your survivability and that of those in your near vicinity.

Active shooter awareness is taught by gradually increasing the environmental stress levels through
various role-playing scenarios to teach you how to take your anxiety, fear, and other victim-centric
emotions and use them to empower the survival instinct that is already part of you.
